Just yesterday, both the Overwatch League and Boston Uprising official Twitter channels announced that their star DPS player DreamKazper was currently under investigation, and that he was suspended from matches until that was complete.
This past weekend, rumors had surfaced that Jonathan ‘DreamKazper’ Sanchez had displayed inappropriate sexual behavior towards a minor. According to the victim, this had been going on for a couple of months. The girl in question was 14 years old, while Sanchez himself is 21. The victim posted her statement on a Google doc with accompanying screenshots of their conversation to further drive home the point that Sanchez was very well aware of her age when they began talking, as well as to show how she felt used in their dynamic.
At the moment, there’s still no word on whether these allegations are true. Sanchez was one of the best players on the Boston Uprising team, and was also regarded as a top tier western DPS player in the Overwatch League. He was being considered for a spot on Team USA for the Overwatch World Cup, though that might not come to fruition after all, if these accusations prove to be true.
